What about the japanese anime based upon the Powerpuff Girls, Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z? Ever watched the anime and did you like it?

I know of it, and have seen stills, read descriptions, etc. To be honest, it doesn't sound much like the original at all. The new series robs the PPG of what was unique about them and adds stuff that's exactly like every other anime I've seen.

A famous critic (I can't recall who) once said of something that "what was good about it wasn't orignal, and what was original wasn't good." Maybe the new PPG Z is a case of it?
