This is concept art for a type of Wyvern I have created.

There are 4 castes of the species, as they have somewhate of a hive like society.

These are the Beta Females, or Kacela.
These are the only females, all other castes are male. The Beta Females are a pale golden green in color with pale green eyes. Their neck frills extend when they spit fire, and turn orange when they are ready to mate.

They stand about 6ft or so at the shoulder and are around 20 ft long, including neck and tail.

They differ from the Beta Males in their neck frills and their headdresses are somewhat less elaborate. The Beta Males are slightly more yellow in color and have pale orange eyes.

Beta Males are the most numerous of the 4 castes, and when the Alpha Male (the only fertile male) dies, all the Beta Males fight for the new position. When one succueeds in achieving dominance, his color and appearance changes drastically, as well as his physiology. He grows to an enormous size, and his color deepens to a deep blood red with black patterns adorning him.
