I look like that at work. When I get brainstorming on something, I scrawl down whatever idea I have on a post-it note, then adhere it to myself. It's the best way to keep my previous ideas out of my field of view- so they're less likely to inadvertently restrict ideas yet to come.
It looks ridiculous, but that's just a side benefit.
