You'll find it's very zen to have "happy accidents" with real media. After each brush stroke you can move on rather than sit and question it.

I will share with you my SUPER PERFECT SAUCE that goes with nearly every foods.

step one: buy some quality butter, like Kerrygold.

Step two.: Melt butter in a pan. DO NOT BURN.

step three: skim frothy white milksolids from butter with a spoon.

step four: pour butter over: fish, fowl, steak, pork, vegetables, rice.

step five: OM NOM NOM NOM NOM

Based on the thumbnail, I clicked on this expecting to see some surreal cross-section juxtaposing a real life object with innards violating some, if not all, of the laws of science, nature, and god.

But no, THAT'S JUST HOW ARTICHOKES LOOK INSIDE.

Also this is a remarkable painting.
