This is a second pose I came up with. I couldn't decide which one I liked better. If you can't tell the difference, the feet are in a different position in this picture.

This was originally finished on ‎August ‎22, ‎2009.

I made this for a website contest, but it didn't win. I don't really care now since I've left the website.

Anyway, the concept of the contest was to make an original chao design. I decided to make a cockatiel chao because cockatiels are friggin' awesome. C:

I tried to use the Sonic style with both the thick, colored line-art and the gradient/cel shaded coloring for this picture. It was pretty fun, actually. :] I may make some more pictures like this in the future, but they won't be "chao" anything. It'll probably be a series of different pet birds in this style. Would anyone be interested if I did that? I thought that maybe I could make stickers or something from them. XD

The two different cockatiels in this picture are the normal grey cockatiel on the left and the lutino cockatiel on the right. They're the most common cockatiel colors which is why I chose them.
