Nah. Though I grow them and enjoy taking care of them a great deal, the idea of turning into one is not at all appealing. :P

These are fascinating plants. My mind is definitely weird though, as I think some of them would make wonderful and creative urinal designs. Imagine walking into a public restroom and seeing large porcelain pitcher plant-shaped urinals, painted just like the real thing, along one of the walls, no two of them exactly alike.

Actually someone HAS made a toilet in the shape of a Nepenthes pitcher. I don't have pics of it now, but it's been done before. Conversely, one of the named species: N. jamban is a native word for 'toilet' given the shape of its pitchers. :)

Gee, it even comes with all the plumbing and a sensor to detect movement. Who says they don't have modern conveniences in the jungle! :)

I'd be a bit scared if they grew large enough to eat a human.
