Close, at least the Tropic of Cancer part. I'm a native Oregon wolf that also tends a farm in Hawaii near Pahoa. I have a carnivore garden in baskets hanging from the Dracina trees. I just plant everything in cactus mix and do nothing else. They feed and water themselves. These Nepenthes are my favorites though.

This is probably the guy I got mine from although I only paid 10$ each at our farmers market. Now I just make cuttings off the top for free. I like the varigated ones in your collection. Mine are just bright red. My jade vine drops blue and purple chandeliers around the nepenthes for an awesome color show.
