Pixel art in Photoshop isn't actually as easy as it may seem. Pencil tool at 1px size sometimes isn't enough. That damn thing has automatic smoothing and color blending and I don't know what. All kinds of crazy.
Besides, Paint is actually better at per-pixel painting. The cursor makes it easier to see what you're doing, and it's easier to use line, curve and flood fill tools without having to specialize every damn detail to not auto-AA and crazy stuff like that...
Um... Yeah... Good work, Pinkuh. I would definitely recommend you tone down the dithering, though. It's fun to dither, but these sprites seem to be going for an in-game look, and it's not a good idea to dither animated in-game sprites. I also don't quite dig the grittyness of it. AND it's not quite consistent either! Shading is dithered, but shadows aren't, which looks a bit odd.
Damnit, why is pixel art SO much easier to critique than normal art?
