That's a pretty special hoodie you must have. In a picture that well lit, your face should have shown up very clearly. Also Crystal really shouldn't have admitted that she'd done this sort of thing to Vivy previously. Now Vivy will know to check for the fur pattern. Sure that method didn't work this time, but that was due to falsified evidence. No method of detection is one hundred percent fool-proof after all. Just because it doesn't work all the time, doesn't mean it isn't useful.
Yeah it always bothered me that villains, and even heroes sometimes, would refuse to try failed plans again. I mean, yes, there is that old quote, "Madness is doing the same thing again and again, and expecting different results each time", but c'mon! A lot of those flaws were minor and easily corrected for, while others were do to one time flukes, events that could never be repeated. It's so annoying!
