Wonderfully done. Every now and then I'll get a commission that's so good that I find it difficult to know what to say. This is one of them. It's pretty simple and, as far as violent art on FA goes, it's pretty tame. But Niamh looks so devastated and the scratches help bring it home a lot more than preliminary sketch did. Fiachra looks really good, too. I remember you said it was hard to make rabbits look anything but cute, which I'm sure is true, and he's not really someone who's supposed to be frightening or intimidating in any case. But you did a wonderful job with making his anger real and letting him actually be believable as a threat to whoever it is that attacked his sister. I really like what you did with the colors. Your decision to go with more muted shades really does help with the emotional impact of this piece, and I like the starkness of the background behind them. I really like all the little details you put into this with the snapped strap on Niamh's sandal, and the way the shoulder of her dress has been pulled off her shoulder. I'm particularly impressed with Fiachra's teeth. In my experience, people rarely draw rabbit teeth at all, and I've never seen anyone draw more than just the large front teeth. That's a really cool little detail. You really did a fantastic job with this, and thank you so much!

I actually had to look up a reference for the teeth, I wasn't sure about the arrangement of them. So I learned something doing this :D

I forgot the scratches until I went to upload the final version, and I'm glad I did. It's a lot different without them.

This is a really well done picture. I'm a friend of  veloxfox so maybe I'm biased, but I think the emotional impact of this pic is spot on. This is how older brothers should be when their little sisters need them.
