This cute timid little panda was a fun little project commisioned by 
Dayken of... well himself.

Well, I actually looked at a few other images of the character before making the comment. Even so, I was wondering if that was the case when I first saw this.
It's nothing special really. I'm sure people would have guessed the same thing if they only saw part of the logo along with it's two warm colors.

I've only been exposed by the logo via the two Ganbare Goemon/Mystical Ninja games that were for the N64 when I was around 5 to 8 years old. Recent exposures was with Ganbare Goemon 2 for the SNES and Metal Gear Solid 1 (especially the latter).
I'm sure there's some kind of logo everyone knows but me so...yeah.
