Great work, Gelidien. The whole war scenario reminds me of a little of the games and movies depicting World War II in France after D-Day. This would look wonderful in color, should you choose to do so.

You're a lot better with the detailed architectural background than I am heh...my main weakness being that I suck at architectural perspective and vehicles [anything that truly strays from the organic]. The attention to detail on your character is stunning.

Only suggestion I can offer is to really give the piece a finished look to it...go ahead and do to the background what you've done with the character. Just clean it up [obviously leaving out more and more detail the "further" away from the foreground you get in the image]. It doesn't need to be dark, heavy lines, as that'll take away from the character's vibrancy. Just a general cleaning up so it doesn't look AS sketchy.

Hell, if you do that, I'll steal it and color it for you if you want. =6-^=

thanks for the advice agreeably, the blur effect kicks in after a certain distance, its a bit difficult to do it with a mechanical pencil and wihtout tones though...But i shall look into it

The background is making me dizzy. It's a bit scetchy, but it conveys a nice illusion of depth.

I agree with SnowRose, some heavier lines would make it look even better.
