Really? The rap ruins the music AND the image for me. Maybe an instrumental would match better.

But I agree a sad, yet great image.

The instrumental composer is nujabes and the rapper has done may song with him.so i think they work well together.

Bleh, as I said, the rap ruins what could be a beautiful song.

Rap by itself is normally a tragic waste of talent on it's own, but they're usually backed by casio keyboard demos. This sound has a beautiful backing so it's twice the waste, waste of a composer.

called it. white as mayo :3 Rap has gotten worse due to Corperations forcing artists to use their products in their videos or place it in their songs. there for making the genre nothing more than a materialistic peice of product placement. Hip hop (which is whats playing in the song!) is a style of urban music showing the life of the average person's life and hardships. mentions nothing about coniacg or spinning rims.

I want you to do some comparisons. Listen to todays popular Rap artist, then listen to a hip hop artist like KRS one, Del the funky homosapien or Aesop rock. you'll see a LARGE diffrence.

I dunno, for me Hip-hop was best in the 90s, I still have my old Spooks CD, these days Hip-hop IS rap. Monotonal nonsense spouted in a form that's impossible to make out the lyrics to unless you strain your ears. The english language needs the variances in tone for expression and simple construct. Even without music, listening to someone speak in a single tone is very hard to understand.

And at the end of the day it's not a genre I can ever warm to.

well all im saying is that there are still actuall hip hop artists. you don't need to go on the raido. they're all underground. most of there work is kinda hard to find but if you do the googleing or youtube search. it won't be that hard :3
