Two Part Invention #8 in F-dur, BWV 779, by Johann Sebastian Bach

Many times the pieces I play only sound right when played with a certain sound on the synthesizer. With the main sound I used for this piece, it always reminds me of two chickens frantically running about!
When I was young, I was heavily influenced by the Moog synthesizer recordings of Bach done by Walter Carlos (She was still ''Walter'' back then...). This piece was the first one that s/he had recorded that I was able to lay my paws on the sheet music. Not knowing about multi-track recording back then, I thought it was a live performance - for Carlos' version is played very fast. And so I ended up learning to play it very fast as well! I also recorded this piece in the style of Carlos as a tribute.
Realized on Yamaha DX-100 synthesizer, effects boxes, and Tascam Porta-1 4-track tape recorder. Best listened to with headphones.
