I had been sketching ponies for months and finally decided to actually finish something just see how close I could get to the MLP:FiM style.
My filly's design isn't 100% set in stone, but her name is Curio :) She's based off a buttermilk buckskin, which was my horse back when I did barrel racing. I wanted to add the black markings they commonly have, but since I was going for FiM style I resisted.
My boyfriend isn't a brony or furry so I just surprised him with a random Starcraft 2 protoss!pony since that is his favorite game for funsies.
Done in PaintTool SAI over a few hours because I am a huge slowpoke and mimicking is not my strong suit. Super stoked about my lineart, though.
