Foot-powders are good things. Stop moisture, so slow skin-rot. Athletes foot talcum powder is a good cheap one I use for this. A bonus is the generic anti-fungicide kills off harmless bacteria too, so suddenly there's no smell either.
On this site I have to hold up the disclaimer that I'm not a foot-fetishist or anything. I'm just very aware of BO and stinky feet make me want to upchuck. Plus we walk on these things all the time and few people bother to even clean and dry them well let alone actively maintain them. :/

Plus good foot maintenance makes socks last longer.
