He is a stocky one, that guy. Probably looks most like me out of all the reference sheets I got. Well, if I lost a hundred pounds, had black hair, fur, pointed ears, uh, yeah, not really alike at all, haha.

Your character reminds me a little of my own characters. I've drawn "dragons" in this way since I was a little kid. They were always fluffy and non-scaly, but didn't look like any other animal, so I just labelled them "dragons". I never drew the link of them being a cross between dragons and coyotes, but it's an interesting conclusion. I suppose I'll just stick to the general word "dragon", because hey, who says what dragons -actually- look like? ;)

Yeah I really have a big affinity for these types of "dragons" :D

When I first started drawing them I called them dragons. When I showed them to a friend she commented that my dragons look more like coyotes and that is where I got the name coyote dragon from. I got a lot of interest in "fuzzy dragons" when looking through artwork from Aido Rakaen and Jennadelle and eventually wanted to make one of my own.
sulacoyote also has similar looking characters and also called them "coyote dragons."
Haha, yeah, I do too now. :)

Yeah it's funny how some people just end up drawing their characters like that. I never had a big interests in "traditional" reptilian dragons (alas, as characters for myself). My characters kinda evolved that way through my teenage years. I was mostly influenced by friends and it was only later I knew about Jenna's work. But I was quite surprised about the similarities. By no means a bad thing! Fluffy dragons are ace.
