Progress and ponies. I was curious and decided to photoshop some pony eyes on the sculpt. The muzzle still needs work. When looking at it from below it's uneven but that will soon be corrected. Almost ready for moulding. I simply cannot wait!

I think the only issue here is copyright laws, that's why 
SophieCabra didn't take commissions for people of the cast. But she built OC ponies as commissions so Hasbro wouldn't sue. I think that's the only if you take commissions of the cast. D:>

Actually characters can be made of specific characters as long as they're taken on a commission basis and not used for publicity, volunteer work, etc. That's why people can sell fursuits/mascot costumes/etc of ponies and other characters. However most people who do sell specific characters have contracts in which the buyer has to sign taking full legal liability or state on their site that the buyer takes liability by buying for whatever they do with said character. All kigurumi mask makers make and sell specific characters. I suggest you check out other makers and artists as well. I don't sell ready made masks off the shelf because that would infringe on copyright laws, however I make masks on a commission basis for people and for my own use.

Also, this may be helpful and help explain what I mean. Not sure if what I said really helped or not. Basically costume makers make costumes of existing characters everyday but don't get sued. Below will help you understand why. Also the fursuit maker you linked has made and sold some of the actual characters. ^^;;

Yeah, I remembered that shortly after posting this comment. Yay for being close enough to pick up the goods! I think of ordering ordering an anthro costum mask from you, or at least ask for a quote, after I get back from vacation next weekend. The mask/head in question I'm thinking of commissioning from you is a frog and the shape is actually pretty simple, and no wigs and hair required for it, too. So I guess you can try and estimate from there.
