This is really good! Wow! I very much enjoy the motion in this. :D And the lighting is amazing.
...can I make one remark, though? I think the tuft at the bottom end of the pole should be being pulled in the other direction. @m@

Well, I'm not saying he's using the back end of the pole. xD It's all about the pivot point. For example, with a sword, the pivot point would be at the handle. Where the wrist of the hand does most of the pivoting of the entire weapon. With a long, poled weapon, that pivot point would reside either between the hands holding the weapon or at the shoulder. If the pivot is at the should, it's normally a full swing. Now in you image, the angle at which the arms are held and the positions of the hands on the weapon suggests that the pivot point is held between the hands. So as the bladed end is going down, the tasseled end is going up.

How do you weild a scythe :O how did you even slash with it efficently with the shaft over your shoulder =P
I totally like the design of the scythe and the clawed feet, adds up to a pretty cool picture. Might be just me but a bit more dark expression would have set the mood for a dynamic pose like that.

Whoa...this piece is so amazing. When I saw how much detail you put into the linework I just knew this would look epic colored. I love all the details and how you do your lighting and I adore your character sooo much. <3
I have to say that this piece is worthy of being my first favorite. ^3^
I only hope that one day Ill be as good as you are. Dx Ever since school has been so hectic Ive seem to have lost my natural talent of drawing and its just getting harser and harder to keep my focus on my dream of being an artist after two broken tab sl ets and a whole helluva lot of no support from people. But seeing pieces like this makes me wanna work harser and harder to show you up. XD which is impossible *bows down to*

P.S.- I see what that dude up there was talking about with the feather on the opposite end...i think. XD since that side s swinging up, the feather should be on the other side following the air current. When you have two things on the opposite ends of a pole youll notice that the make a curcle. :3 this one makes a box. :B Hurr. ^_^

But hey, man if art is your passion go for it. Shoot for the stars. Having difficults goals is never bad :3 Just means you'll work all that much harder to achieve it. And with effort comes progress. honestly my stuff used to look like absolute shit about 5 years ago. I look like a toddler spat it out orz I'm sure you'll get there though.

And thanks, I'll keep that in mind. XD I look back at my old art and it is sheet as well, and now I'm not too shabby. The thing I hate is that I have to look at other people's drawings for poses and anatomy 'cause I totally suck at it. :( And I feel bad for that.
