Yes, the fur on his back continues between the wings. The backs of his wings are the same colour grey as his main body colour. His pupils are in fact brown. The grey around his eyes does not continue over the bridge of his nose and is also on the other eye. His thumb IS opposable. He will probably try to eat you.

He's not very shy. And I'm almost sure those spotties on his flank and shoulder glow sometimes.
