i just can't believe you can dance as lumi, and for hours on end without just passing out from heat exhaustion

Amusingly, the blue light from the eyes that quietly floods the inside of the head (literally, the inside has a solid but dull glow which is what makes the nose/mouth light up) is in the right light spectrum to trigger melatonin suppression I've found out. Every time I 'marathon' in Lumi, I don't notice the time going by until I take the head and suit off... and THEN I'm exhausted all at once.

But honestly, layering some lycra like used on underarmour/diveskins is what makes it possible, because it lets my sweat actually work instead of just soaking and ruining the fursuit. :) That's 90% of the wear and tear on a fursuit honestly, is the salts and what-not from sweat rubbing into the backing. The mechanic stresses are, long-term, less than the chemical ones.

New suit??

Had him since April actually. =^.^= This is the first actual con I've been to to take him to, though I did lot a local Halloween party and some little get-togethers with him prior to shake out bugs. :)

Not sure if him or the 'yena will be at FC yet, since this lug takes up two 24g action packers because of Dem Hips filling one by themselves, and I might (if insanely lucky) have WW at FC too, so gotta leave cargo-room available for the return-trip. >_>

Yeah, Abrahm took 4... or was it 5 shots at this one before he got one he liked? Hard to tell but I was having to support ALL my weight on my left leg in this stance so my thigh and calf wanted to mutiny by the time we were done. >_<

100% worth it though for how nice the pictures turned out! :D
