zhivagod accompany a series of stories I wrote, centered around the piece 'The Days After', for the Califur 2.3 Conbook.
This is Macavity as in my setting The Great M.O.U.S.E. Detectives, set in a post-WWII England. I haven't developed anything but the outline for 'The Great MOUSE Detectives' story, to be honest, but it's there.
Macavity is pure evil. Totally evil. Attempted to assinate the Queen as she was attending Parliament, just to distract everyone so he could steal the crown jewels. Thought dead after the (misnamed) 'Battle of Newark', in which the MOUSE Detectives, at a great cost to themselves, prevented him from detonating a nuclear device (instead set off a huge conventional explosion), he returned to perform the 'Second Gunpowder Plot'.
Opposing Macavity (and other villains not quite up to his caliber) are the Mouse Detectives, led by Sir Jellicoe.
Now, being one of my creations, he's not pure evil. He has his justifications, he has his reasoning for what he does - just twisted and warped reasoning. He's not psychotic, and amusingly enough, he is a British patriot - he feels only home-grown problems should be allowed to blow up England.
