miss you buddy! it was fantastic to see you at MFF :) i know we didnt get much time to talk or hang out but hey, its a convention. i saw you in suit a couple of times while i was out walking around, and i really really really wanted pictures together but your friends had you practically dogpiled most of the time and i couldnt really get to you.
hopefully i manage to get to another convention that you'll be at. we'll have to hang out again :) since MFF was "my last con" for a while as the mantra goes that i've told countless others.
you take care of yourself you hear? i'll try to catch you on yahoo or something some time
gosh do i ever ramble

Wells Grey Prov. Park is on a volcanic plateau. Most of the peaks in the southern part of the park are defunct volcanic cones. The Ray family established a farm in what was originally wilderness, before Wells Grey became a park in 1939, and lived on the site from 1911 to 1947. A few of their dilapidated buildings are still there. Ground level mineral springs in the field near the farm are enjoyed by deer and other animals, and about a 10 minute walk back from the farm, there is a thigh high mineral cone on the ground with water fizzing out of it. I can recall dad and I camping in the park when I was 11, we filled a bike water bottle with the natural spring water, tipped in a package of kool-aid and shook it without thinking.... the lid exploded off and landed on the other side of our camp site, showering everything within a 12 foot radius with sugary red, fizzy water.

Looking at the orange slime around the cone, I'd be weary now, but I've drank from it three times as a kid and in my teens, and I'm still here, so it can't be as bad as it looks. The water had a metallic, slightly sulphuric taste, but reminded me of Perrier.
