That cheatin' lil monkey...
Every once in a while I get this ridiculous urge to stylize the crap out of some innocent animals. So I decided to try out a digital coloring technique I learned yesterday from a tutorial by TheNass on DeviantART and I am quite happy with the result. This is exactly how I had envisioned this picture looking in my head when I sketched it out.

No gradients were used. All those fading-into-the-distance effects were created by hand with the brush.
