We got a new bulldog! Her name is London and she is 10 months old. We didn't name her (I would of picked something like Lucy (like from charlie brown) or something else more bully like).
This one was a rescue (like our last three animals). Someone bought her for 800$ as a puppy, but didn't have the first clue of how to take care of, or how to live with, a bulldog. So she was given away a couple months later.
The 2nd family wasn't much better. They were looking for a calm, peaceful dog...not a 40 pound puppy. So they called her a lost cause, fed her puppy chow, and locked her in a small cage 90% of the day.
We got her last night, and she was indeed a handful, as puppies in new areas are. She has NO manners around other animals. <.< When the two older (8 years and 15 years) dogs growl at you for following them around the house, sniffing and snorting...you'd think the smart move was to back off... not her. She is slowly learning though. Sugar and her get along well enough now. Trixy stills growls when being sniffed too long.
The big problem right now is the cats. She chases them, and they puff up and growl when in eyesight range.
UPDATE: So that didn't last long. We're already in the process of finding another home for her. She really is a good dog, but my cat Hope keeps attacking her, and she keeps chasing Trixy. Oh well. Best of luck London.
