Time for my monthly post!

And this illustrated nicely the difference between artist grade paints and student grade paints.

The artist grade paints are actually opaque and cover quite a bit of ground. The student paints are... not so much.

The artist grade ones also come only in gigantic tubes that cost you various body parts and possibly an organ and a kitten or two. The student ones will run you about 12-15 bucks for 8-10 tubes. Or you can get the small primaries+B+W set for like 8.

I got some just to see what would happen! I thought "Well, they're like opaque watercolors right? I like water colors, I should see what happens."

Then I painted with them like acrylics. :U

The white will be handy at least for my watercolor stuff. Possibly others, if I actually do anything with them.

Started with the student grade white, then used the windsor newton white. WN white won.

Oh yeah, I painted a hyena on a random folder, too. Probably wearing overalls. Male? Female? You decide!
