Hmmm, three dumb questions,
What happened to the sheet of Feline Adopts 1? I saved the other examples in this pose into the folder I have of your art, don't intend on doing much rather than have them too look at because somehow I really like that adoptable pose and your patterns turn-out well as flats
How about more of this style of adoptable? I understand some take along time to go. but if you raise the image size a little, they'd go for more, but you should be auctioning these instead of a flat rate sale. But even as a flat rate they could go for 15-20 bucks now.
What would you want for commission of a trio of 'wing-it' style characters in this base with backs too, if I give you a species, general colors and some kind of loose guide for fur patterns on each?

Haha, replying. ;)
1) Is this one the right one? http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6956895/
2) This base is the first anthro I started with, it's like... I checked the date, it's from 2011. If it's not an OS, I generally do a couple of adopts with it (anthro or feral one does not matter) and then kind of upgrade by making a new one, closer to the actual art level and adjust the price a little bit. I never raise old prices though, because sometimes people want an adopt and they can't afford it at the moment but would collect money and buy it when they have enough. If I raised prices, they would be kind of running after me and would probably either get tired or pissed. ^^; Still, I usually exhume the really old stuff only if someone asked for a custom. In that case, a custom *now* would be priced with adjusted prices and not the ones I asked for when the base first came out.
3) Unfortunately doing the backbase for an old base would probably cause me to overcharge on the overall custom since this is a base I don't use anymore. Flipping this one and editing the lines a little would be doable, but I don't know how it would turn out... You priced them right though, $15-20 according to the level of hair detail and design, but only for the fronts. If you added the backs it would depend on the same meter of detail and design, though if we bypassed the hair on the backview it would definitely drag the price down a little bit.

1) Don't know how I missed it.
2)As Kyla's buyer I appreciate never raising the price of a premade character. And ignoring the age of the ref, my point is it's somehow attractive in it's original state as pattern and species refs with flat color, to me as a -buyer-. It's the patterns and species that sell in the end, a quality unicorn with incredible detail won't sell if I don't like the color or fur design and was looking for a raccoon? I say simply up the price to $15 and auction a set off as individuals a chance to make more, you still get your $15 and folk feel they get a bargain for a SB. Unsold characters you simply save them a while then add them to a future list, maybe it's better to say the cute pose alone will sell over time like Kyla did. I likely would have bought her as a new adopt for $15-20, just because she was what I was looking for at the time. An update might be better to offer (with new enthralling pin-up examples drawn to show) a refined version of the flat ref for $x dollars more?
3) Actually, I imagined adding a back view would cost 1/2 to 3/4 more depending whether you needed to show more than the back of the character and need arms/legs/paws/hair/tail to show for special details I guess another point about your old ref is that it makes a backside ref a lot easier and quicker to do for someone? Then offer the whole refinement package (with new enthralling pin-up examples drawn to show) . ^^

Haha, remember that my lazy ass has trouble thinking all these market strategies, it's far less stressful to me to do a new front than revamp the whole thing. :D
About the third question, I thought you wanted a full version of the back, of course if we're talking about just a sketch partial then the price would go down, though with pre-sets I almost always do not need to make a back version because I try to make it as intuitive as possible from the front how the back is like. ^^;
