Eeekk. My first real submission :x, so sketchy~
I've been drawing for only the past two months, so please be nice :(.
About the image... I had a random thought, and ended up drawing myself of what I'd look like if I were a cat :). Personally, I think I did well, but I don't know much about anatomy (animal planet doesn't help o_o) and it's also my first time trying to add fur in. The only reference I think I had was the idea of knowing how I actually looked like. And yeah, I cannot draw clothing... (the jacket was supposed to be black, but I got lazy :()
Please, if you have the time... I’ll gladly take any constructive critiques, no need to hold back xD. I'm still a new, and well.. the best way to learn is to make mistakes. Please help me learn! xD

This isn't bad for someone who's only been drawing for two months. The eye on the right looks a bit too long at the left corner, but that may be a stylistic choice. Keep practicing and if you don't already, you may want to use reference pictures for particular poses, expressions, features, etc. I also might add that the hair looks like one solid piece (though that could be anime style) and its a good idea to add more detail when drawing it. If you have any questions concerning future art, feel free to contact me.
Thank you for the tips! I actually got kinda lazy on the hair (not really good at it, so I made it in to anime xD). I'm learning to add more detail to pictures, I was actually holding back a bit, I shoulda went for the details :x. I was only afraid of messing up a bit. I actually really need good tips on shading.
Shading should also be pretty easy for you to get the hang of. Darkest to lightest basically, darkest at spots where there'd be shadow. Of course, you'll have to decide where the light should be hitting your subject to know where the shadows should be. You could do one of two things to shade, for darker shades, press hard; or you can use graphite pencils with varying hardness/softness lead. 2h is the lightest I've worked with. HB is the lead quality of a normal number 2 pencil. 2B, 4B, 6B, are darker, 6B being the darkest. If you have these kind of pencils you can sort of blend them together like a gray-scale from darkest to lightest. The darker pencils, which have softer lead, blur well with the use of erasers or fingertips. Smudging is another good way to create a shading effect. Hope this isn't confusing.
nope its not :) Thank you! I was asking my friend about that the same night I was drawing this picture, he didn't know what I was talking about xD. Nonetheless, this is a big help, I've been only using my lead pencil the whole time, I was thinking about switching around with graphite pencils for different areas but I didn't know the difference. Well now I know :3.
