here is some progress from my last post. I tweaked the shape quite a bit, and I painted on the colors to further help show me what the outcome will be.

I plan to wear this above my head, it needs to be light, and hollow for a fan, so I am going to wrap this in plastic wrap, then masking tape, and then many layers of paper mashie (which to my dismay we have NO NEWSPAPER *rage face) pop out the foam and then plastidip the snot out of the mashie, then fleece the beak and fur the head.
