A couple of practice pieces.
I was gonna go with something red as a background to complement her color scheme at first, but when I was painting this I turned the layer off and noticed how hints of red had made it's way into the lineart. I've wanted to be able to spice things up in that manner for the longest time and now I had it happen purely by mistake.
Fucking happy accidents, man. Now I just got to learn to be deliberate about it.

Awesome style! Great design and colors!
Although I have to say that I think that in the left drawing, her upper body isn't as action-posed as her lower, but instead almost like a pose compared to the fast actiony lower body. Hm, but if she is doing a pirouette then it fits.
