thats what i want to do.
Im tired of seeing people claim art that is not their. Ive never had this done (to my knowlage) but it would make me seriously PO'd to find out that someone was. especially my fursona, she is ME! i put myself into her.
So is watermarking resonable? what do you think about them?
hows mine? did i do it right? did you see where I got the idea? Do i need to put my name bigger on it (its there, hard to see, but there)?

I don't think watermarks are entirely unreasonable. ^^That one's not too distracting, and it looks pretty professional I think. But what do I know? I am having trouble finding your name on it though.
Some artists just sign their work with their username or initials in an inconspicuous location like the bottom right corner or bottom left- I've even seen it in places on the edge of a tree. I like the watermarks that go across the bottom, myself- that way it doesn't distract, but then you risk having it cropped off. At any rate, as long as you have it submitted somewhere first before anyone else, you can pretty much prove you drew it and have it removed. Or at least I think so.
Those're just my random thoughts though- I'm not an artist or anything. ^^; So I'd understand if they wouldn't carry much weight to ya.

yeah might have to make the name darker or larger but i hate my hand writing.
i think i would make the watermark smaller on something not as special to me as my fursona ref. putting it just slightly on the picture so it cant be too easily cropped out. problem with the person stealing art is 1. its facebook 2.the artist didnt watermark or sign it i just swear ive seen it before and all the pictures he clames to be his are COMPLETELY different styles
i take all thoughts into.... thought
