Bastardized Byzantine Bias a.k.a I remembered the name
Well, anywho. Decided to take a break from "the mess" and do something a little lighter to wear. Found this weave and thought "Oh hey, that looks easy."

You get one unit done, get the final ring into it and have to rage just to get it to set correctly (in other words, this is a very tight fitting weave, for the center bit).
Prolly going to end up making this a neck/collar/cuff/thing.
