FEATURING;
Bosky
AuraTheWolf
Aura's first day at Quack Quack's was going like most first days go. There were lots of friendly faces, but not too many who seemed eager to run up and welcome the new kid into their circle of friends. Of course, Yosh and Toroth had made a solid effort to be Aura's fast friend. However, like all close pals, the two wound up getting into some mischief and accidentaly forgot to let Aura in on what they were up to.
Aura was scouting around for a friend when, suddenly, she saw a lonely fox cub toddling off in the corner of the large playroom.
"Hi," said Aura nervously.
"Eep!" cried the fox boy as he turned about with surprise. In his hands he was supporting a very well loved goat plushie and, upon seeing Aura, he gasped.
"Oh," Aura said bashfully. "I didn't mean to scare you."
"Y-y-you're a w-wa-wolf," sputtered the fox boy nervously as he slid the goat plushie behind his back.
Aura looked herself over before replying, "Yes." She then grew a very unhappy expression as she asked, "Is something wrong?"
"Uh," said the fox boy. "You didn't come here to eat Mei, did you?"
Aura was confused.
"Eat you?" she said as she put a finger to her chin.
"No," stated the fox boy as he peaked the goat plushie's head out from behind his back. "Mei."
Aura was still lost. However, it wasn't long before her eyes caught notice of how tightly the fox cub was holding onto the goat plushie.
"You mean your stuffy?" she asked.
"His name's Mei," the boy replied as he gained the courage to hold his beloved toy out enough for Aura to see. "Wolves eat goats and Mei's a goat." He then firmly clutched the toy in both his hands and proclaimed, "And he's my best friend! Well, next to Oxxy, and Nishi, and..."
Aura shrugged as the fox cub got lost in naming all his pals.
"I eat goat," she said nervously. "But not that kinda goat."
Hearing this snapped the fox cub out of his thinking.
"So you didn't come to eat Mei?" he asked.
"No," said Aura shyly as she shook her head. "My name's Aura. What's yours?"
The fox boy smiled and stated, "I'm Bosky!" before dashing forward and commenting, "Cute trainers."
Aura was surprised by Bosky's sudden change in attitude towards her.
"Gee," she blushed as she shuffled about. "Thanks. I like them, too."
"Are they fun to wet?" asked Bosky as he looked curiously towards Aura and wagged his tail. "The trainers I had were no fun as they didn't feel good when they were wet."
Aura was a little confused, but couldn't help but giggle and blush as she answered, "I guess so. I mean, I don't mean to, but..."
"Hey, Bosky!" cried a young goat boy as he came into view from around the corner. "Aren't you going to try and find us?"
"Oops!" exclaimed Bosky as he realized how he had forgotten to go about his counting for the game of Hide and Seek he and his friends were playing. "I was just talking to the new wolf here and..."
Bosky suddenly stopped and had a double take as he looked at his goat plushie, then at Aura, then to his goat friend, and then back to Aura.
"You're not going to eat my friend, are you?" he asked as kindly as a concerned cub could.
Aura didn't know what to say. Though, that night, she found herself not feeling very hungry for goat and mom and dad had quite the time explaining to her the difference between plushies, pals, and meats.

Being the new kid is never easy. However, once you make friends and get to know the place, the good times just start rolling on-and-on.
I'm glad you liked the little story. The One Stormy Night ref was too hard to pass up as an ice breaker. Next up will be some real fun. However, first, I have a bit of a moral dilema in store for Yosh as Winry questions him on his "secret life" the night before his wedding. :)

I am so glad you liked being a part of this exciting adventure, Aura. Having a wolf around certainly adds to the fun. Not to mention, Aura's personality will be neat to throw in and introduce more as further stories evolve and the characters get the chance to interact. :)
This is still totally super duper adorable! :D It's always neat how you manage to come up with not only a cute idea, not only a picture of the idea, but even a story to go along with it all too! *giggles* Phew, it's a good thing Aura's not the goat plushie or Sotelo eating kind of wolf! It's neat we can chat about wettin' our diapies too! It can be cute to see lil cubbies getting to learn about all of the weird things in life, and it's extra creative when you depict 'em learning about the weird eating rules that happen in the furry world! :D Anyway, I love it, thanks so much for including me, Yosh!
*Hums merrily while giving a big, snuggly hug* I'm glad you liked it. So much delightful thought went into this as I couldn't help but show how much One Stormy Night made me feel. It's a great movie and a good homage to the lil' foxy who got me to check it out simply had to be done. *Nuzzlehugs* Thanks again, Boskeroo!
