Everyone's been very patient with all my non-furry postings, so here is something decidedly furry.
The CLAW holds an annual Great Yearly Ceremony and at that event, we invite a chosen few to become official "Friends of CLAW" because of some contribution they made to further the goals (and/or the CLAW Scholarship Fund) of our semi-secret society of Cartoonists.
This is the invite I created ealier in the year for someone we are honoring. (It was my job as a council member to do one, and since the subject in question was of the furry persuasion, I volunteered!)
It is a paper sculpture and is sort of a relief piece mounted in a box frame. Let me know what you think as I am seriously considering taking this medium up again and might have some to sell at future con art shows!

Sorry--I belong to a group called CLAW (the Cartoonist's League of Absurd Washingtonians) and we have meetings where we get together and draw and hang out and wear fezzes. At the beginning of these meetings, we have a ritual we perform to open the meeting where we demonstrate the various "sacred truths" of our group. One of those truths, recalling the Magritte painting, is that we all say "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" together.
This image is for one of the CLAW functions, so when you wrote that quote, I was quite surprised. ^0^ I didn't mean to be confusing about it, but you can see where I'd be caught off guard.
Anyway, it's just cool. To me, at least.

No problem. I always liked your stuff. I think I told you that at Conifur... I wish I was able to get some of your stuff directly from you tho, that way I could beg for an autograph, like on those cards..... which y the way, my stepson has displayed so he can make other kids jealous at school. :)
