I think the pose was something we both agreed on.
When I do commissions, I try to think of something that I like and the artist will enjoy doing. Sure, I am the one who paid for the work, but it's not as enjoyable if the artist doesn't like it.
The mind set you have for commissioning work is a very good stance. After all, the more the artist enjoys the project, the better it will turn out. ;3
An artist won't try their best if they are doing something that they, personally, do not enjoy. So...
It works out.
