Is saying "Visit scenic X" where X is something that is not a real location nor scenic at all a cliche yet? I stole it from Borderlands but I've seen a dozen games do it.
For the past couple of days I dusted off the old BUILD engine and started constructing a remake of my old Mountain Lab map, which doesn't work anymore.
Shrinker.map, as it's called, is not really a true level in that there's no real point to it. It's mainly just a little playground I'm putting together to show off on my video game growth YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/growingbluey).
The main attraction of the map is a laboratory with two lizardmen held in observation chambers. The chambers have shrink ray shooters built into the walls that you can switch on and off. Originally the map was going to be JUST this lab, but I got carried away and built a courtyard, a stream, and a hidden lake with a jetpack in it. It's amazing how I can't stand drawing for more than five minutes and I can't sit down and write, but when it comes to fifteen-year-old game editors, I can waste entire days doodling.
Also, in case you're wondering, in front of the two pawprints outside is a pickup of expander ammo, so it's implied that some lucky anthro was the subject of some growth experimentation.
