Poem 3: Hit the boulevard

Seeking the yellow satin sheets that fluttered and danced across the dangerous wooden floor, he heard the bellowing echo of an engine sparking down the driveway, awaking him from this pleasant slumber.
The waking noise of “Avril Lavigne” pumping from his stereo system, he cawed “Wake up sleepy bunny”. That time of year again already he thought to himself, as the bird bemused the bunny’s foot paws.
“Give me a minute okay” He moaned and giggled tossing the feather pillow to watch it explode at contact with the birds’ beak, an eruption of white feathers, and a minute before the erupted wonder.
The Bunny watched the feathers parch themselves to a black crisp in moments touching the dangerous wooden boards, no wonder his friend was bouncier than he was on his two claws.
Sometimes it’s nice to be with a good friend pumping out the tracks of “Hidden” pleasures. If he dare say, he had a little thing for just being with a good friend and not caring who saw this moment at all.
Soon the pillow awoke the bunny from his daydream, as it erupted with a small poof as it hit the dangerous white wooden floor boards, some of which ripped and placed gently on the wall.
****
In the deepest moments sometimes he just needs the blast of the guilty pleasure of him and his friend singing along to the music pounding as they hit the boulevard: Just to get out and about off the farm.
After a good supply of laughs singing wiggling along to the songs as his friend clapped his talons along to the beat of the tune coming from the CD player as they took out to the machine. “Off to AC it is then”
When he gets to go, the talented artists know they’ll be asked so many question’s and a good bit of the craic will be had, with a good beer or two at the bar off a good ol’ pal of theirs although it was no harm.
If the Bunny or the Bird bought a good round of the best whiskey making a long journey they would both have all the more worth it: Sometimes it did not matter id the bunny was sore, it was for all of them.
He came along and wanted to party like he did not give a damn that saw the blue tipped ears flop about as the birds’ feathers spattered and sprayed the floor, igniting them with all the colours of the rainbow.
Even the bunny did not have to give a damn not like he or his friend would remember much after all the festivities of the bar and nightclubs had all taken their rest. It would close and then he be pounding so.
So sore on his paws from all the dancing and a throbbing headache just to top it all off, It was sure enough, that he and his friend, had a “savage” night out on the town.
Surely painting the town an ignitions shade of red, with the festivities being slobbered and squished into the hotel room carpeted floor, which for once, was not dangerous at all, he actually got to lie down.
Sometimes you just need a wild party of feral creatures. Just for the clear shits and giggles of life.
Serenading through the stream satin silk lights of the boulevard: you would think that him or his buddy have never seen this life before, it was clear to others, these two knew how to rock the parties socks off,
Serenading through the hotel halls getting other creatures, befriending them so that they could have longer sessions of “Kings” late all night in the hotel lobby, falling to the solid marble floor in fits,
It was clear. Or certainly reflected that no matter what, this artist sure did miss his friends around, he missed that he lived way away in the country air, but could not ask for more, then just a once off.
Big bloody bash bewildering the humans how he could conjure up and muster down more beer,
It was a surprise the humans paid attention to him, rather than to the ones dressed in their gear.
He surely had a muzzle to turn heads; his friend was not one off either, a beak of solid ivory to the touch
It would have been more priceless than Di Vinci art hanging in the Louvre in Paris, or is that too much...?
