Fall is here but will soon be shades of grey
I can only hope it never goes away
Wonder what I'll do today
I think I'll play in the leaves
I find a forest that struck my curiosity
I wonder what's inside
I walked and walked just wondering what I'll find
But instead of gold or gems i found something better
A leafe of a peculiar shape
I marveled at it wanting it to stay forever only to be blown away
By the winds of fall but it left an imprint on a cement brick I left drying
So I kept it forever with that peculiar leaf that seemed to leave itself behind
Fall is here but will soon be shades of grey
