Section 3 - Behaviour:
Fluffkitty is a shy but unusually playful creature. Rarely seen in the open, usually found scampering from cover to cover. It uses its large tail -sometimes of greater mass then its actual body- to conceal its torso from view. This confuses most predators, who will not attack until they can determine the true size of their prey. Coupled with Fluffkitty's ability to floof its tail, increasing its size by up to 25%, and Fluffkitty has a remarkably effective countermeasure to predators.

Clearly intelligent to the level of a trained domestic animal, Fluffkitty has a special affinity for humans. Like canines, Fluffkitty greatly enjoys the affections of humans, and will actively seek them out when not concerned with foraging or grooming. It approaches cautiously, using cover initially, until the target catches sight of it. It will then slowly emerge, using the stance shown here, with paws resting on its tail, widened eyes, and what many observers have described as "a cheeky smile." The males of the species are bolder and more trusting in their approach, and may even curl into a ball and roll right up to a human.

Studies have shown that the Fluffkitty waits expectantly for one of two aural signals from humans before complete trust is given. The first is a long, sustained "awwwww", rising in frequency. The second is the word "cute" said in much the same way. Either signal will, with nearly perfect consistency, make Fluffkitty unfurl his tail, exposing his body, a sign of great trust. He will then allow himself to be petted, picked up, and cuddled. Fluffkitty's famously playful nature will then be observed as he returns the affections given, with interest. If a cuddled Fluffkitty floofs its tail, this is a sign of great happiness and pleasure, and you should feel rewarded for doing a good job. Chances are you will have found yourself a loyal pet for life. If such a relationship is undesirable, approach the bonded Fluffkitty with an electric razor, as if you intend to shave its tail. This will guarantee that you will never see it again.

When hungry, Fluffkitty will sit on its haunches and beg with both paws, and occasionally mrowl and point to its open mouth. They enjoy most brands of cat food, but are also partial to boysenberry or peppermint ice cream, and especially love veal tortellini pasta for dinner. Under no circumstances should Fluffkitty consume energy drinks. You have been warned.
