I considered screaming that I had gone mad with power and hiding your comment, as I am almost incapable of telling if I'm being trolled or not.
But I'm gonna be a sucker and given an honest response instead.
Neither the illustrations or the stories are rife with symbolism, instead focusing more on sentiment and feelings of family and togetherness. I considered attempting to work specific holiday symbols into each illustration but they were never really a focal point of the scenes I illustrated so I instead tried to stay true to the stories.

that at least gives me a better idea of what the picture is all about, and no I wasnt trolling. Im jewish and I celebrate hannukah so I had no idea how true to the holiday you were trying to be here, and if you were trying to be true to the holiday I would have been happy to help

Very nicely done! I quite like your black and white stuff, though I might be biased because your black and white stuff is usually more interesting scenes and such; I'm sure they'd be great colored too.
