Don't have a good camera to take it with. That and we just got a Mac so we'd need to configure the settings and such. And I dontthink I will scan in my canvases lol.

These look great. You really bring out the shapes of their muscles and bones well. The guy's pose is kind of bland, but I think you did a good job on bringing his shapes out. Good shading and consistent lighting. I can't think of any hard critique though.

With oils I'm shamelessly drawn more to light than to gesture.

I still use the student grade stuff too, but I'll have to draw the line at some point and invest in the metallic colours for sure. I love really deep blues (which you can't really get with print media), so I have a goal to get super awesome at glazing.

I was told about an illustrator that used a kneaded eraser to lift layers of oil paint to render forms, isn't that crazy? Paint thinner could do that as well, but yeah, oil paints = fun.

kneaded eraser sounds way easier to control, if you ask me.
