First time drawing bird in a long time and I used no reference D:

She wanted a phoenix, so I decided to hit two birds with one stone. I hate WoW's Alar model. I love the concept, colors, and all that jazz, but I despise how the model looks. http://wowgoldpig.com/Img/EN/wgp_ar.....le_phoenix.jpg It has no legs, tiny wings, tiny tail, and a derpy face. On top of that if you get it as a mount you sit on his ass. It looks retarded.
