Hey all! Decided I wanted to set myself a challenge; Create a picture using only one layer 8D
It felt so unnatural painting without sketching and linearting first! I made a messy doodle of what I wanted and then slapped paint over the top of it! It was quite liberating x3
Who knows. I may do more of it! I cropped the body out because this alone took me hours, but we'll see if I'm tempted to expand it again BD

Basically....ok so imagine that paper is transparent. One sheet of paper = One layer. Normally, when using digital art I use one piece of paper for each bit (e.g. one for clothes, one for hair e.t.c), and then at the end of it I stick them all together. This time round I only used one piece of paper and painted everything onto it.
That's the best explanation I have XD
