Dragonball Z was pretty awesome, but screw Adventure Time, and whatever else they show. I only watch Courage the cowardly dog and Tom and Jerry :)

Adventure Time is cool, but yeah, I miss quality stuff like Season 2 Swat Kats.

I was thinking about it and their near total lack of explosive "lethal force" missiles would sort of serve to make their vigilantism slightly less illegal. In universe, everyone would be deaf being that close to jet engines, even just from the enforcers above the city, and probably most of the windows in town would be shattered pretty regularly.

It has glass high-rise buildings, that people fly supersonic past within 10 feet of. A sonic boom creates a pressure wave, which means the force it exerts is a function of both the pressure (dependent upon distance from the source) and the area of what's getting hit. Control tower operators report that on the final flight of the SR-71 blackbird, ALL of the windows on their control tower got blown out as it came in past at low altitudes on the way to land. Their speed of heat can exceed escape velocity to follow the spaceship straight up into orbit, aka 94,175 mph (mach 23), and they've triggered it in the middle of the city on at least one occasion if I remember right.

If you notice, they DO shatter the glass of the window. I can't remember if the pressure wave gets stronger as the mach number gets faster, which would also have an effect. Of course, realistically the force coming out of their exhausts would be enough to cave in windows as they turned past them at how close to things they fly, and probably at least a few people would have been sucked into jet exhausts.

But I agree, it's a cartoon, and a good one (one of my favorite lines regarding the undead came from the series opener: "YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN BURIED")

Hah, they didn't even use bullets or anything. I dunno. I just watched ALL THE EPISODES, and Season 2 is just SO. FUCKING. AWESOME. You can kinda see the age in Season 1 but Season 2 is even more awesome.

Tends to be the way of it. Second season is generally better done.
