The top of tge ball will be a kiku design which is proving harder than I though to do XD Getting everything even and thr same size is annoying!

It's a temari ball, an old Chinese kids toy that migrated to Japan and became really popular as a tradition and eventually an art form.
I've cheated on this one cause of the size but it's usually cloth filled with rice to make a ball then wrapped in yarn, then sewing thread, then you stitch designs on to it. They often have noise makers insude, this one has a bell but I forgot to wrap the bell so it's a bit clunky :(
I'll eventually be making massive one (about 15" diametre) as a prop for my next suit.
