This is Macqual. 'Mack' to his friends. I've been sketching his species for weeks and decided to finally work on coloring some cartoony little studies.
He's a Drell-- they're by far my favorite species from the Mass Effect universe. (Turians come in a very close second). ME 1 and 2 are fabulous scifi video games and I highly recommend them.
Poor Mack is, like the rest of his species, blessed/cursed with a photographic memory and the tendency to replay said memories from time to time in perfect detail. In Maqual's case, some of his more unpleasant memories are often accompanied by nasty migraines--hence the uncomfortable sketch in the upper right-hand corner.

I really like this guy. I need to draw him some more. :] I'm still working on his biography and whatnot, so there will likely be more art of him to come.
