Valentine's Request from

I'm such a ditz. At the beginning of this year, ilayas opened up for a few requests for Valentine's Day. I put one in, because I wanted to get something sweet for Eliki to celebrate the occasion. Well, this was posted February 7th, and somehow I completely missed it until Eliki pointed out to me just this afternoon.
I suspect it was posted just at the moment I decided to clear out my New Submissions queue, and then when I didn't see the picture I just kind of assumed that I hadn't been picked and didn't think any more about it. Even so, it's deeply embarrassing to know that someone went to all this trouble, and it's an absolutely gorgeous picture, and I didn't say a word to them about it.
Eliki, thank you so much for spotting this and calling it to my attention. I'm such an idiot, sometimes, and I wish I'd gotten it to you sooner, but you know I love you as much now as I ever did and no matter what I will always be grateful to you for all you have done for me. Which I know I say all the time, but I really can't say enough about how much you mean to me.
Sorry for the incredibly unimaginative title. But I couldn't think of anything that fit better, or which summed up my feelings more accurately.

I am, too. I still can't believe I missed it! But it's a beautiful picture and I absolutely love it, and it really brightened my day quite a bit. I think it makes kind of a nice counterpoint to the picture I posted last night, too. Even if it's with Niamh instead of Megan, I think it still shows that there's a deeper connection between us, and that's important to me.
I'm really glad you found it, and thanks again for noting me about it. Though I'm sorry it made you worry something funny might be going on! It is a wonderful picture, and it certainly brightened my day, too! As for the outfits, I'm not sure where they came from, but I do like them and I'm rather tempted to steal the one Niamh is wearing to give to Megan. They do kind of have a futuristic look to them, and with the ripped stockings(?) on Niamh's arms it gives the whole thing a sort of action-adventure feel to it. Either way, the main thing is the love it shows and I think that's really wonderfully done.
