Originaly done as a " Sorry for your loss" To a girl who lost her goldfish after 5 years, but in the creation prossess it started looking more like my old Goldy " Magikarp". So I desided this would be a great way to show I was sorry for her loss by showing my own losses as well and where I come from to comfert her.
My first drawing that was 100% Tablet, I got my tablet back on Christmas from my brother, but didint get the hang of it till I did Magikarp here, so now that I have created him, he has brought on a whole new world of drawings with teamwork from my mouse and my tablet. Hopefuly to show people ( like I am doing with the hummer), that both tools can do a beautiful job depending on what they want to show.
This drawing took well over a month, but the detail is the most I've ever done, even now when we're a few months from when he was created. He was also my second time trying to draw fish, so I for one believe it was a great success, and she was conferted by the image so it's all come to a wonderful finish for Magikarp. He served a purpose in my life, and in still life.
CCRT welcome.

Let me know if you have any you want drawn, I'm always open, it just might take awhile to finish ^^;. This drawing took a month afterall, a koi may be longer if it's got alot of colors. Incase you don't have a request though, I'll be sure to let you know when my next karp is done =3.

Thank you very much, I have grown to pride myself in some unique styles that I've created after many tips from artists around the net. Using the wise words of a treditional artist on Art ELT who said:
" Many think color needs a viberancy that hurts the eyes, yet a subtle change in graniants can aid in a wide veriety of beauty"
I created the slight dashing pattern with my tablet Stylus to make the scales glitter in the waters reflection, but not so much that it became a eye sore of sorts^^. What you just stated is exactly the feeling I wanted people to get from this drawing, thank you once again. And thanks to the fact of checking my gallery of images.
