This is the Wildcat a bowie that my cousin made. It is hefty and grips well in both fore and regular grip.

He brought it to me this thanksgiving gathering and asked me to make a sheath for this unique blade.

This is very very unfinished. You should tell him to move onto smoothing the edge of the blade with coarse sandpaper, or at least a file.

the edge on it ia rather sharp he ground it down on the grinder then used a diamond stone. He wants the rough finish says it will help keep it from rusting.

Thank you it was rather challenging actually the gut hook is sharp and would cut through anything if the design of the sheath was any more formfitting.

Bowie is not my style of knife fighting but this one does hold well and feels good to hold.
