This was the song I had submitted to a composition competition. Didn't win (which i thought as such. I never win at contests XD), but still i thought it was decent enough to be revamped as an FL Studio MP3.

It's very nice! The synthesized instruments make it sound very much like a FF song.
To be honest, that's likely what is costing you. The songs that win contests use Finale or something else that plays back .mp3s instead of MIDIs. A lot of people can't get past the fake-sounding instruments to enjoy the obviously fantastic work behind them.
Keep 'em coming. No, seriously. Quit doing whatever tomfoolery you seem to think is important and write more music. :P
